Persimmon Cup
Nick Bertozzi is perhaps an undiscovered genius. His webcomic Persimmon Cup is one of the best I've ever seen. Reading quickly, it seems to vibrate and pulse with the rhythm of life forms laid out on paper (or screen) with all the humor, drama and romance of the best indie comix. But, of course, it's free.
His colors and hypnotic drawing suggest alienation, and the estranged storytelling begs to understand how men and women misunderstand one another.
