Gary Panter
Maybe you've read some Jimbo comics. If you haven't, you ought to, because Gary Panter is one of the few certified masters of comics. He's signing Gary Panter, his new book, at Domy today, and doing a slideshow reading as well. You'd be a fool not to go.
Signing is from 6-8 pm, but I would get there late-ish because the reading is to follow the signing. There's plenty of eye candy in the store to distract you.

My friend, Candy & Cigarettes artist Jonny B. (he did the cover), well, he put together this mix tape on cassette and gave it to me to give it to you. It's rad. Yer gonna like it lots. Apparently, it's dedicated to a certain someone whom Jonny misses lots. You know who ya is.
He's not giving me a track list beyond this picture, so you'll just have to deal with that.
Mixing on tape, transitions are sort of janky and everything sounds muffled, which is great. He's into a lot of amazing shit, and you'll be hearing (and reading?) more soon.
I'm way into it.
